About Our Doctors

Dr. Patricia Frey-Murray

Dr. Patricia Frey-Murray began her practice of OBGYN in 1999. She was in practice in San Jacinto Plaza 1 until this past October, when Grace Women's Center & Medical Aesthetics relocated to 6711 Sjolander. Just a short 4 miles from the hospital, our resort-like setting has expanded to offer not only the best in women’s health care but also a complete line of medical aesthetics.

Additionally, her husband Bear Murray PhD, is a licensed professional counselor and specializes in behavioral health in the same location. Married in 2015, he brought in another side to the practice that complements Dr. Frey’s successful OBGYN practice.

These clinics together offer a unique treatment of the whole woman. Given the economics of business for any medical doctor, a patient may need more time than is available for someone to listen to their emotional issues. When a client comes to Dr. Frey-Murray and mentions a behavioral health problem, then Dr. Frey-Murray can refer them to her husband and vice versa. Patients can have faith that they’ll receive full-scale, top-to-bottom assistance with their health.

Dr. Frey’s awards include the Methodist Medical Center Outstanding Academic Achievement, CREOG Award, and the Special Excellence in Laparoscopic Procedures Award. Dr. Frey-Murray is a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has delivered nearly 10,000 babies during her tenure in Baytown. She continues to accept new patients.

MD, MA, FRCOG, FRCS, HCLD, FACOG, FACS

Dr. Botros Rizk has written and published 28 books on infertility and reproductive medicine. 12 of his books were published by Cambridge University, the leader in medical publications over the last two centuries. Additionally, he edited and published six medical textbooks through CRN/Taylor and Francis in London. One of the unique features of these six books is that they are a compilation of his personal cases throughout nearly 40 years of practicing in women's reproductive health and infertility.

Dr. Rizk was mentored by Nobel laureate Robert G. Edwards (the inventor of IVF) and completed his prestigious fellowship in reproductive medicine in London and Cambridge. Afterward, Dr. Rizk joined Cambridge University medical school and Addenbrooke's hospital as a senior registrar and clinical lecturer.

We are proud to have Dr. Rizk and his almost four decades of reproductive expertise at Grace Women's Center & Medical Aesthetics as we offer the highest qualifications of infertility services in America.

Lauren Dewey, WHNP-BC, is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and graduate of a Master of Science in Nursing program at MGH Institute of Health Professions. She spent her life in Boston, Massachusetts, until moving to Texas in July 2021. Prior to relocation, Ms. Dewey worked in a variety of fields at Boston's premier hospitals, and in addition to OB/GYN care across the lifespan, gained specialized experience in urogynecology, pelvic floor disorders, family planning, and adolescent gynecology. Ms. Dewey aims to provide sensitive, empathetic care to all, creating a safe and welcoming environment to discuss health issues and answer any questions. In addition to general OB/GYN care, her special interests include sexual wellness and helping women regain control over bothersome symptoms such as chronic itching, embarrassing odors, pain, or troublesome bleeding patterns. Ms. Dewey believes all women should have the opportunity to voice their concerns and be heard; she does not believe that just because a discomfort is "common" that it needs to be endured, and will diligently work with her patients to find a solution.

Beyond addressing the health and wellness of her patients, Ms. Dewey also offers aesthetic services to those looking to emphasize their natural beauty, restore youthfulness, and improve self-confidence.

In her spare time, Ms. Dewey enjoys baking, traveling, and exploring Houston's art, food, and culture with her fiancé.
