About Our Doctors

Dr. Patricia Frey-Murray

Dr. Patricia Frey-Murray began her practice of OBGYN until 1999. She was in practice in San Jacinto Plaza 1 2019, when Grace Women's Center & Medical Aesthetics relocated to 6711 Sjolander. Just a short 4 miles from the hospital, our resort-like setting has expanded to offer not only the best in women’s health care but also a complete line of medical aesthetics.

Additionally, her husband Bear Murray PhD, is a licensed professional counselor and specializes in behavioral health next door. Married in 2015, he brought in another side to the practice that complements Dr. Frey’s successful OBGYN practice.

These clinics together offer a unique treatment of the whole woman. Given the economics of business for any medical doctor, a patient may need more time than is available for someone to listen to their emotional issues. When a client comes to Dr. Frey-Murray and mentions a behavioral health problem, then Dr. Frey-Murray can refer them to her husband and vice versa. Patients can have faith that they’ll receive full-scale, top-to-bottom assistance with their health.

Dr. Frey-Murray is a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has delivered nearly 10,000 babies during her tenure in Baytown. She continues to accept new patients.

Dr. Botros Rizk, MD, MA, FRCOG, FRCS, HCLD, FACOG, FACS

Dr. Botros Rizk is a world-renowned fertility specialist and reproductive endocrinologist. He is a pioneer in the field of infertility and reproductive medicine, with over 30 years of experience.

Dr. Rizk began his medical career at the Cairo University School of Medicine, where he earned his medical degree. He then completed his prestigious fellowship reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the esteemed Bourn Hall Clinic before becoming a clinical lecturer at Cambridge University. There, Dr. Rizk worked with Robert Edwards, who won the Nobel Prize for in vitro fertilization (IVF) in 1978 and published 28 textbooks on the subject. Dr. Rizk was Professor and Head of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at the University of South Alabama from 1995 to 2019. He now serves as president of the Middle East Fertility Society.

Dr. Rizk has also worked extensively with Stuart Campbell, Howard Jacobs, and Robert Edwards to develop new procedures and treatments in the area of obstetrics and gynecology. Throughout the late 1980's Dr. Rizk played a pioneering role in GnRH agonist protocols. The pioneering work in ovarian stimulation has been adopted as the global standard of care.

Today, Dr. Rizk is the medical and practice director of Elite IVF in Texas, Tennesse, and Alabama. As a respected physician surgeon and researcher, he has authored and edited more than 400 articles, book chapters, and abstracts over the last 25 years. Dr. Rizk now services as Odessa Fertility lab director at Odessa Regional Medical Center and Medical Director of Odessa and Midland Elite IVF.

Dr. Rizk was also nominated by Castle Connolly as one of the top doctors of 2017.
