Lauren Dewey, WHNP-BC, is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and graduate of a Master of Science in Nursing program at MGH Institute of Health Professions. She spent her life in Boston, Massachusetts, until moving to Texas in July 2021. Prior to relocation, Ms. Dewey worked in a variety of fields at Boston's premier hospitals, and in addition to OB/GYN care across the lifespan, gained specialized experience in urogynecology, pelvic floor disorders, family planning, and adolescent gynecology. Ms. Dewey aims to provide sensitive, empathetic care to all, creating a safe and welcoming environment to discuss health issues and answer any questions. In addition to general OB/GYN care, her special interests include sexual wellness and helping women regain control over bothersome symptoms such as chronic itching, embarrassing odors, pain, or troublesome bleeding patterns. Ms. Dewey believes all women should have the opportunity to voice their concerns and be heard; she does not believe that just because a discomfort is "common" that it needs to be endured, and will diligently work with her patients to find a solution.
Beyond addressing the health and wellness of her patients, Ms. Dewey also offers aesthetic services to those looking to emphasize their natural beauty, restore youthfulness, and improve self-confidence.
In her spare time, Ms. Dewey enjoys baking, traveling, and exploring Houston's art, food, and culture with her fiancé.
